Being a military owner and/or having a variety of marketable assets has certainly taken a broad range since I was a kid. The development of the average career military personel profile is a very amazing thing, now that I take a closer look at it. Being a military owner of anything, especially if one is of the enlisted ranks, is a big jump from the way things were in the days I grew up as a Army brat.
A military owner unless an officer or of retirement age barely owned anything. I've been around since the early 1960s first as a army dependent, then as a USAF B-52 troop. Now days the compensation for military services is amazing compared to back then.
The development of commercial media vehicles for communication between military owners and other owners and civilians is a blessing also.
